Shotton Hall detachment have been very busy this year working hard
to pass subjects for their star badges. They have been on weekends
at Otterburn, Stainton and Catterick doing subjects such as first
aid, map work and skill at arms.
A few
cadets also took part in the Young Guns competition with the rest of
C Company at Stainton in April. We have also had cadets working
towards their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award and taking parts in
regional sports competitions including athletics and hockey.
At
the minute we are looking forward to Annual Camp in August where we
will be doing lots of shooting and fieldcraft. We are also going on
some cultural visits as well as having a fun day out at a theme
park. You will be able to see us around Peterlee in July as we are
doing a bag pack at Asda and in September at the Carnival.
If
